The Men's Health Trust New Zealand, in partnership with Unitec, are offering up to ten scholarships with the aim of encouraging more men to undertake health science degrees thus increasing the number of men working in the health professions.

 

WHO CAN APPLY

·     Applicants must be men who have been accepted to/currently studying in a Nursing, Health Science (Medical Imaging), Applied Science (Osteopathy), Social Practice or Mental health degree or programme at Unitec New Zealand;

·     Applicants must be a New Zealand Citizen or hold Permanent Residence;

·     Applicants who are existing students must be full-time, full-year at Unitec New Zealand and have completed proven academic ability with a Grade Point Average of 4.00 (B- minimum) or higher OR have successfully completed the Foundation Studies programme in Health, and have been accepted onto the Nursing, Health Science (Medical Imaging), Applied Science (Osteopathy), Social Practice or Mental Health programme at Unitec.

·     Applicants must be able to demonstrate community involvement, financial need, academic achievement and determination to succeed.
