It is with great pleasure to be able to present the Mana Tana Ora o Aoteroa Maori Mens Health Coalition website. It is no accident that this coincides with International Mens Health week and it is a year ago this week since the Inaugurual National Maori Men Health conference.
Mana Tane Ora o Aotearoa is aligned to Te Wiki Hauora Tane 2010 National Mens Health Week campaign. There is an extensive range of activities and events planned at both a national and regional level to celebrate International Men’s Health Week. They are designed to raise awareness and promote the importance of Mens Health and Mana Tane Ora o Aoteroa supports these initiatives.

I would like to acknowledge the Mana Tane Ora o Aoteroa Board members
committment to this kaupapa. They have worked diligently to keep this
kaupapa on the radar and to continue the momentum gained from last
years conference and we are now pleased to be in a position to further
develop and progress Tane Ora.
It is important that Tane Ora is
a priority not only this week but everyday and we all must work
together to address the challenges which we all know only to well. It
is time to take action and that time is now. I look forward to
continuing to update you on our progress towards addressing Tane Ora.
